Our Agenda for Ohio’s Youth
Boys & Girls Clubs programs have taken members from the Clubhouse to the White House; from the game room to the corporate boardroom; from the high school art room to the gallery hall.
For more than 128 years, Boys & Girls Clubs in Ohio have inspired and empowered youth to achieve success while championing opportunities for all young people.
It is with this mission that the Boys & Girls Clubs developed a plan to equip every young person with the tools they need to achieve their true potential. The Agenda for Ohio’s Youth is our public policy platform intended as a tool to guide advocates in their work to build awareness and understanding of the importance of out-of-school time and youth development as economic, moral and national imperatives. It also serves as a roadmap for policymakers and key stakeholders as they consider and prioritize strategies, policies, and legislation that will impact youth. The Agenda consists of five policy pillars that reflect the issues and solutions needed for youth to succeed.
